In-Depth Review

Sportsuit Santa

What would the holidays be without an appropriately styled iPod nano case? Thanks to Marware we'll never know, as the company has served up its Sportsuit Santa to help you ring in the Christmas season in style with your iPod nano.

Marware Sportsuit Santa

The Sportsuit Santa gives your iPod nano a super soft home to protect it from the elements. With function following form, Santa ends up being little more than a glorified Apple iPod socker, stockingbut surely that's part of the appeal. You will need to insert your nano upside to keep the headphone port accessible, and it goes without saying that the nano will need to be removed to access the controls.

Marware does include both a mini carabiner and a lanyard, although the latter can be tricky to attach to the Sportsuit Santa's mini loop (we recommend keeping the carabiner attached and then connecting the lanyard to that). Also attached to the back of Santa is a belt loop.

Wait 'til the guys at the station get a load of this!

The Sportsuit Santa is every bit as straightforward as it looks: a bit of white fuzz shedding aside, you won't encounter any unexpected surprises here. While it may be seasonal and may be silly, at just under $20 the Sportsuit Santa makes a fun and affordable stocking stuffer, although you will probably want to put it into use before Christmas day.
