    • Alanis Morissette
    • Ten years after the original release, comes the traditional celebratory acoustic re-recording. The album has held up remarkably well. While it is not as meaningful to me as it was when I was sixteen,

    • Led Zeppelin
    • This album bears every flavor of genius from the five records that came before. It is, I believe, the band's finest. With Physical Graffiti, Zep came raging back to their musical home territory -- har

    • Depeche Mode
    • Oddly enough, Playing The Angel is a return to form for Depeche Mode, even though it may well be argued that they never truly deviated from their roots in their more recent offerings. In the

    • Spoon
    • Gimme Fiction by Spoon is a terrific album by an Austin band that I was lucky enough to catch on an Austin radio station during a Christmas visit.

In-Depth Review

iQuiz

It's hard not to love iQuiz, the a brand new iPod game from Apple. It costs a mere 99¢ but it delivers hours of trivia quiz fun. Plus, when you get tired of the included quiz questions you can create your own quizzes and even share them with your friends.

iQuiz comes loaded with four different games -- Movie Trivia, Music Trivia, TV Show Trivia, and Music Quiz 2. Music Quiz 2 is my favorite because it quizzes me on the contents of my iPod music library (and is the only quiz I stand half a chance of winning.)

Quizzes may contain true or false questions, multiple choice questions, or both. There's a wrong answer counter -- three wrong answers and you lose. And there's a countdown timer -- take too long to answer and you get the question wrong.

I like the way an explanation appears when you get a true/false question wrong.

iQuiz also keeps track of your personal statistics and includes a tutorial which you probably won't need.

Finally, it's easy to build your own quizzes and share them with your friends. That's way cool, too.

The Bottom Line

How can you not like a game that costs less than a buck and gives you this much enjoyment? So what are you waiting for? Go buy it already! (And after you do, download my first attempt at a pop music quiz here: http://boblevitus.com/iQuiz/iQuiz.html. And please, let me know how you do on it.)

Just The Facts
