- Beck
Beck is the modern master of the groove, and Guero is merely the latest example of this. From the opening power chords of "E-Pro," to the Pac-Man cuteness of "Girl," to the dirge-like lullab
- Massive Attack
"Black Milk" knocks me off my feet in this collection of moody and eclectic songs. Massive Attack uses samples and keyboards in a very unique way, but not all the songs pack the same punch.
- Poe
Dropping like a bomb on some of the blah musical offerings of her contemporaries, Haunted was one of the best albums of 2000, obliterating the competition.
Ostensibly a tie-in to her brot
- Phish
- This quasi-concept album (the only of its kind) from these Vermonters finally showcased their ability to convey a message with a studio album, whereas previously they only succeeded in doing so live.

In-Depth Review
Ivyskin Quattro-T1 iPhone 3G case
Sunday, December 28th, 2008 at 5:28 PM - by Bob LeVitus
I've reviewed dozens of iPhone cases and few are so good I don't want to have to take them off so I can test the next one. The Ivyskin Quattro-T1 is only the second one I can recall this year. (The other is the iFrogz Luxe, reviewed here).
What's so great about this case? Pretty much everything. First, it's made from a sturdy polysilicon material that feels really good in my hand. Ivyskin calls the stuff "Ultra Tough 2mm thick LEXoN Polysilicon," and it's kind of like a wet suit but smoother. They call it "shockproof" and while I am not sure I'd go that far, it does offer pretty good protection and makes it easier to grip your iPhone securely, too.

For even more protection, all of the external buttons, controls, and ports are covered as shown here:

Plus, the docking port (shown below) and headphone jack (not shown) are protected by unique fold-out plugs.

To protect the screen against scrapes and scratches there's a sweet, non-adhesive screen protector that was quite easy to apply without the usual bubbles or other crud.
And it also includes two clear polycarbonate inserts -- one to display the Apple logo on the back (as shown below) and the other to protect the front sensor (not shown).

Although I've yet to misplace either one of the inserts, a second set is included, just in case (pun intended), which is a nice touch.
Finally, the Quattro-T1 comes in four colors: jet black, raz red, royal blue, and alpine white.

Actually, there is one other thing: When I went to the Ivyskin Web site to check the price I noticed that this case is currently on sale for $29.99 (vs. its regular price of $34.99). I don't know how long the offer will last but if this case sounds good to you, you might want to act now rather than later...
The Bottom Line
For maximum protection the Quattro-T1 is hard to beat. First rate materials and attention to detail make this one of the best cases I've tested this year.
Just The Facts
Pros:
Quality materials, good overall protection, ports and controls are protected, nice non-adhesive screen protector, two sets of clear inserts included.
Cons:
Clear inserts could get lost.
