    • Take the voice of a young Billie Holiday and stuff it into a svelte, petite body with the face of an angel, and you have some idea of what it's like to experience the music of Billy Miles in her self-titled debut album. Her music is smoky, rich, and so full of textures that it makes you want to kick back, grab a cold one, and just hang out with your significant other. There's no pretense here, each song sounds fresh and at the same time, as familiar as your favorite pair of jeans. Check out Sunshine for an easy R&B beat and comfortable lyrics, or Your Love's A Lie for a bluesy melody that makes you want to get up close and real personal on the dance floor.
