Monday, July 11th, 2005 at 4:10 PM - by Staff
Cambridge SoundWorks on Monday introduced PlayDock MP3, a speaker system for use with iPod or iPod mini as well as other compatible MP3 players, including Creative's Zen Micro and Dell's DJ and Pocket DJ. The US$199.99 all-in-one speaker system features a rechargeable battery with up to 10 hours of play time, a carrying handle and a three-driver amplified speaker design with a 15-watt subwoofer. It can also recharge certain MP3 players while in use, but Cambridge SoundWorks' Web site wasn't specific.
PlayDock is a little over nine inches high, almost 11 inches wide and 10.25 inches deep. It weighs approximately nine pounds, 10 ounces, not including the MP3 player or included AC adapter.
