RadTech Announces Ice Creme 2 iPod Restoration System
Wednesday, August 10th, 2005 at 7:10 AM - by Staff
RadTech LLC announced Wednesday Ice Creme version 2, a restoration kit for scuffed and damaged Acrylic and plated metal surfaceson items like Apple's iPod and iPod shuffle.
Ice Creme removes scratches and abrasions that tends to occur on highly polished acrylic panels. Products like Apple's iPod and iBook notebook computers, hand-held PDA's and cell phones can all use Ice Creme, the company said.
Ice Creme's regular formula is for plastic products and lightly damaged bright metal. The "M" version adds a special metal refinishing pad, which can restore severe bright metal surface damage - like the iPod's bright metal back panel. It is not intended for use on the iPod mini, painted or anodized surfaces.
Both versions include RadTech's Optex application and polishing cloths. A typical, moderately damaged iPod requires approximately 15 to 20 minutes to fully restore, the company said.
Ice Creme is available in a Regular kit for US$20.95 and a Ice Cream M kit at $25.95.
