Plasticsmith Annouces Tux iPod, iPod mini Acrylic Stand
Thursday, August 18th, 2005 at 11:10 AM - by Staff
The Plasticsmith announced Thursday the release of tux for iPod, a protective pedestal for Apple's iPod and iPod mini digital media devices.
Tux is a desktop stand that comes in tilt and upright versions. Its side supports are built from extra-thick, polished acrylic. Tux suspends iPod above the base, supporting charging and syncing with iPod's cable while secured.
It is available in black-based or white-based colors, with clear sides on all models and non-skid pads for stability and to protect table tops.
All eight models will be sold exclusively through Plasticsmith’s online store at US$35 each, the company said.
