iTunes.com Sees Increased Traffic in July

comScore Media Metrix has released its July Web traffic numbers, which show that 5.4 million people visited the iTunes.com Web site that month, up 13% from June. The company noted that the increased traffic pushed the overall "Retail -- Music" category up 7% for the month to 30.1 million visitors.
Apple's main Web site was number 32 on comScore's list of top 50 Web properties in July, bringing in 17,438,000 visitors. Total Internet users were 167,444,000, with Time-Warner's network of sites drawing the most traffic with 119,144,000 people, followed closely by Yahoo! at 119,032,000.
