Diverse Companies Start Adding iPod-Friendly Video Content
Friday, November 4th, 2005 at 2:40 PM - by Staff
With Apple's announcement this week that it has sold over one million videos through the iTunes Music Store, companies have started ensuring that their video content is available in an iPod-friendly format. ZoomAndGo.com on Friday announced that its travel videos can be downloaded in a version that will work on the new iPods, while adult site Xobile.com said that it will add the functionality next month.
ZoomAndGo offers more than 10,000 videos of travel tips and hotel reviews shot by travelers and submitted to the Web site. iPodNN first reported on its addition of "Download to iPod" links next to its clips.
Xobile is a purveyor of adult content available in clips between two and five minutes in length. The company is offering nine free movies to new subscribers and next month will be selling them for US$0.99 each.
