Fox Co-Chairman "Open" to iTunes Deal

So far, only ABC and its parent company Disney have signed up with Apple to make video content available for download through iTunes, but Fox is also open to a deal, according to James Gianopulos, the company's co-chairman.

Reuters reported Thursday that Mr. Gianopulos said "Of course, we'd be open to [a deal with Apple]. We believe it would be a great opportunity." He made the comment at the Reuters Media and Advertising Summit.

Fox is home to Family Guy, Prison Break, the recently canceled Arrested Development, The OC, Malcolm in the Middle, That 70's Show, and more reality programming than you can shake a stick at.

If they're smart, they'll make the deal with Apple before 24 and American Idol start up again in January.

That would be great! I would love to see Arrested Development for sale on iTunes!

I wonder if Apple will announce new deals with studios at MacWorld... perhaps as a companion to the Multimedia Mac Mini being rumored...

Could anyone think of anything more appropriate than American Idol on iPod?
