Kainjow and crispSofties have released Pod2Go 1.6 and iPod.iTunes 3.0, respectively.

The former, which enables users to put a wide variety of text content on their iPods, features reworked lyrics handling, improved syncing for Apps and News, better handling of multiple iPods, the ability to import news feeds from other applications, the use of rsync for faster backups and more.

Pod2Go 1.6 is free for all registered users. The full version is US$15 and requires Mac OS X v10.3.9 or higher. A 15-day demo is available.

I wonder how long it will take Apple's attorneys in Germany to come down on crispSofties for trademark violation? Perhaps they can sue under US law, as crispSofties sells to people in the US. The trademark violation would seem to be blatant and egregious.
