iPod On AOL Top Spam List

America On Line's (AOL) third annual most common spam list is out, and the iPod nano is there. The top ten list of most common spam email schemes puts the iPod nano in fourth place, along with the PS3 and Xbox 360, for unsolicited technology offers. The spam email offers that AOL tracked were all unsolicited, and are most likely bogus scams, as well.

The top ten list shows that spammers are becoming more sophisticated, trying to trick computer users into think that their emails are in response to prior messages, part of an on going email conversation, or a part of a consumer-initiated online transaction.
