Miglia's EvolutionTV Adds Real-Time Video Capture For iPod
Wednesday, January 11th, 2006 at 10:45 AM - by Staff
Migilia Technology on Wednesday released a Beta version of an update to EvolutionTV's software that adds real-time TV and video capture for iPods and Sony's PSP. Company president Simon Ellson noted in a press release: "Evolution TV uses built in real-time hardware compression and does away with the export steps. Simply press the record button and synchronise the recorded video file to your iPod."
EvolutionTV is a hardware device that enables Mac users to watch and record TV on their computers. The accompanying software offers such TiVo-like functions as pausing, rewinding and fast-forwarding live TV, as well as recording shows manually or according to a schedule. EvolutionTV features built-in video compression that enables users to burn several hours of content on one DVD.
