iPO at Macworld - Case-ari Offers Quality Leather Cases at Low Prices

Case-ari is displaying its line of premium leather cases at Macworld Expo San Francisco. The cases use Napa leather and sport seamless construction, elevating them above the vast majority of leather iPod cases on the market.

What differentiates Case-ari from competitors like Baja is the price: these sharp leather cases are about the same price as many silicone cases on the market. The iPod nano version costs $24.99, while the 5G iPod case will set you back $29.99. Each is available in 7 colors. For older iPods, a 4G version is available for $24.99 in two colors.

For those less inclined to hunker down with some raw-hide, Case-ari also offers a clear plastic Crystal Case for iPod nano that features a lanyard and costs $14.99.

Obviously, these are knockoffs of Vaja's iVod cases, without either the quality nor the color choice. It sounds like they use a mylar-type screen protector (they say that the package includes an "applicator card," which would be useful for an adhesive-backed protector. Vaja uses a hard plastic that really protects the screen, not only from minor scratches, but impacts.
