Apple UK Denies Tax Dodge Plans

Apple UK has responded to yesterday's news reports that it will move its British iTunes Music Store operations to the Channel Islands in order to avoid VAT (value-added tax) payments and lower the prices of its songs. According to a brief PC Pro article, the company on Tuesday issued a statement that simply said: "This report is not true."
