iPod Wins D&AD Global Award

Apple was awarded two "Yellow Pencil" D&AD Global Awards for the iPod at the 44th Annual D&AD Awards ceremony. According to Digit, both the video capable iPod and iPod nano won awards for Product Design. D&AD bestows its "Yellow Pencil" awards for the best in print, motion and online design, as well as creative excellence. Out of 24,000 entries, 54 earned awards. Two special "Black Pencil" awards were also issued. One for the redesign of The Guardian, and another to Leo Burnett Canada for outstanding creative design.
