iPod Delays Concern Memory Makers

Analyst reports that Apple may delay the release of new iPod models has NAND Flash makers worried that memory prices may drop. According to DigiTimes, Apple's iPod manufacturing drives NAND Flash memory cost, and manufacturers have been counting on new models to keep prices up.

If Apple delays the release of new iPods, memory manufacturers may shift some of their production to DRAM from NAND flash, which will create a drop in chip availability during the switchover.

How much power and insight does Shaw Wu really have? This man makes one public statement and BAM, an entire industry goes kerblonky.

I mean, come on, it's not like he's Alan Greenspan or anything.

If his past comments are anything to judge by..... not much! Isn't he the same Shaw Wu

that (right after the nano launch) stated that it wasn't selling well? His justification for

such a statement?.... "esitimated wait times are shorter than they were for the mini in

it's first weeks". Man that's just genius! I suppose it never actually occurred to him that

supply might be better? There are 2 reasons for low wait times... one is that demand is low,

the other is that supply is high. He's about as smart as my dog. No wait... my dog is smarter.

I am starting to wonder if Shaw Wu and Herman Munster are the same person. They are both Apple stock analysts. They always have the same exact opinion, with numbers off just a little to make their research look independent. Has anyone ever seen them in the same room together? I didn't think so.

OK, check this out, I have the definitive proof... If you take the first letter of Herman Munster's last name and turn it upside down, it's a W. The second letter of Herman Munster's last name is "u". What does that spell? "Wu". Coincidence?!? No way.
