Verizon Drops Music Download Fee

Verizon Wireless is eliminating the US$15 a month fee it charges subscribers for its V Cast music download service. According to MSNBC, the cell phone service provider will continue to charge $1.99 per song. The price restructuring comes as Verizon rolls out its new cell phone and M3 player dubbed "chocolate." The phone bears a striking resemblance to the iPod nano, and even includes a Click Wheel-style interface.

You win the bet... it's not Blondie. Its a group called Goldfrap, the song is Strict Machine. You can hear a sample by looking it up on Borders.com.
