Review - NanoGo Wallet

Sunglasses? Check. Cell phone? Check. Keys? Check. Wallet? Check. iPod? Check.

The pre-departure list for running to the store today rivals that of going to the airport two decades ago. It's no wonder, then, that someone you know has probably permanently misplaced one of the above in the past month or two.

Pacific Design NanoGo Wallet

To the rescue comes Pacific Design's NanoGo Wallet, which allows you to carry and protect your iPod nano, ID and credit card or two, and cash in a minimalist design.

Like other Pacific Design cases, the NanoGo Wallet is constructed of leather-like polyurethane and features excellent overall craftsmanship. Security of your belongings in the NanoGo Wallet is sound: a button clasp ensures that your iPod nano, ID, and cards remain put, while velcro keeps your cash in the pocket where it belongs. Plastic screen protection is included for your iPod nano, while cut-outs keep the clickwheel, hold button, headphone, and dock connectors all available. As far as the wallet part goes, comfortable capacity is limited to about four cards and a handful of bills.

A mini carabiner clip makes it easy to snap your NanoGo Wallet to a belt loop or keep your keys connected to the whole shebang as well, while a less practical wrist strap makes it even harder for you to misplace your items. Both the carabiner and wrist strap are easily removable.

The Bottom Line

If you and your iPod nano are attached at the hip, the NanoGo Wallet is an excellent idea for keeping it handy, provided your current wallet doesn't resemble a small briefcase.
