U2 iPod Gets Same Update as its Siblings
Friday, September 22nd, 2006 at 3:50 PM - by
Apple late this week updated the 30GB Special Edition U2 iPod with the same brighter screen, better battery life, and lower price as its standard 30GB and 80GB siblings. The company did so with no fanfare, but iLounge noted that the new model number confirmed the fact that this model's specs were updated, not just its firmware. It now sells for US$279, a $50 drop from its previous price.
