Podcast Expo - American Recorder Shows pMix Personal Mixer
Saturday, September 30th, 2006 at 3:30 PM - by
ONTARIO, CA -- American Recorder demonstrated pMix at this week's Podcast and Portable Media Expo. The device is a personal three-channel mixer for those who would like to realize the benefit of a mixer when producing podcasts, without having to lug around a heavy piece of hardware. Alan Adelstein, President, gave us an overview of the device.
The pMix provides three line-level inputs via a standard stereo mini jack, with three controls to individually adjust the level of each of these inputs. The three sources are then output to a standard stereo mini jack, which you can connect to an amplified speaker system, and whose level is adjusted by a master volume control. One can also monitor the output via the headphone jack.
