Red iPod nano Supports AIDS Fight

Apple Computer introduced a Special Edition red iPod nano on Friday to help fight HIV/AIDS in Africa. US$10 from the sale of each nano goes to the Global Fund to fight Aids. The special nano, dubbed iPod nano (PRODUCT) RED includes 4GB of storage, a 1.5-inch color display, up to 24 hours battery life, and Apple's redesigned earbuds.

The Special Edition iPod nano is Apple's contribution Global Fund and (RED) effort. (RED) co-founder, Bono, commented "We're ecstatic that Apple is giving their customers the choice to buy a red iPod nano and help women and children affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa. "It's wonderful to see this incredible level of commitment from companies that are willing to lend their creativity in the fight against AIDS in Africa, the greatest health crisis in 600 years."
The Special Edition iPod nano (PRODUCT) RED is available at Apple's online and retail stores, and is priced at $199.
