SpotDJ: Sharing Music Comments through iTunes
Wednesday, October 25th, 2006 at 1:00 PM - by
iTunes users have a new way to experience their music thanks to a new service called SpotDJ. To take advantage of the service, users download a free application that monitors what is playing in iTunes. The SpotDJ application pauses playback at the end of the song so that it can play an audio spot that is related in some way to what you just listened to. SpotDJ subscribers can also record and submit their own commentaries.

SpotDJ accounts are free, as is the SpotDJ Mac and Windows-compatible application. The community-based service is still in a beta test phase, so we may see some features come and go as it develops.
