Apple Delays Apple TV Release Until Mid-March

Apple Inc. will be delaying the release of Apple TV -- a device that links iTunes to your TV for media playback -- until March of 2007. The company cited unexpected delays in final development, and pushed the shipment date back from its originally announced time of February.

"Wrapping up Apple TV is taking a few weeks longer than we projected, and we now expect to begin shipments mid-March," the company said in a statement.
