Apple Launches Complete My Album at the iTunes Store

Apple introduced a new service at the iTunes Store on Thursday called Complete My Album that lets users that have purchased individual songs to buy the rest of the album for a reduced price. The service credits US$0.99 towards the purchase price of the full album for each track purchased, and it keeps track of which albums qualify for Complete My Album in a personalized page within iTunes.

Eddy Cue, Apple's vice president of iTunes, commented "Music fans can now round out their music collections by upgrading their singles into complete albums with just one click, and get full credit for those songs they have previously purchased from iTunes."
The Complete My Album offer is available for 180 days time after the purchase of individual tracks.
