XtremeMac announced on Thursday their 4x1 HDMI Switcher and cables for Apple TV.

The HDMI Switcher has four HDMI inputs, one output and is compatible with all HDCP devices. The input is selected via a remote control or the on-unit button. It is sized the same as the Apple TV for easy stacking.

The unit is priced at US$99.95 and is available for pre-order. Expected delivery was quoted as "mid to late April."

awesome on HDMI Switcher....

As for Cables those are little pricey but not expensive as Monster's

however one can find good quality cable at lower price than XtremeMac sells.. and in all sizes since Xtreme sells one size for each cables. hmmm

I ran into them at exhibition which they set up booth there in Phx few weeks ago. I was surprised to find them cheaper than Best Buy which I planned to buy.

Actually, this is a great price on the cables. WalMart's cheapest in store is currently $35. Radio Shack's is $45. Many consumers see these prices and wonder if a $20 or a $2 cable can be good quality. In the case of the XtremeMac one, it most definitely is. I got my first one in January as part of my aTV order.

As for the switcher... Too sweet. Nice price. Gonna pre-order one this weekend. Would be super-sweet if it clipped onto the Apple remote. They will most definitely share in Apple's aTV success. Current switchers look mostly like science fair projects or homebrew kits and are much more expensive.

Best Buy? Are you kidding me? They will charge you 20 bucks for a freaking USB cable!

They are grossly overpriced for accessories like these. They have no "generic" versions of anything.
