Apple Introduces "Finger Tips" iPhone Videos

Prospective iPhone buyers looking for more tips on using Apple's combination iPod and smartphone before its 6 p.m. release Friday evening can pay a visit to Apple's iPhone Web page to see the new "Finger Tips" videos. Each video presents a tip like how to silence the iPhone ring, how to create a favorites list, and more.

The full collection includes 10 tips:

  • Silence the ring
  • Delete a message
  • Create your favorites list
  • Assign a ringtone
  • More song controls
  • Browse in Cover Flow
  • Magnify to edit
  • Mail preferences
  • Set a passcode
  • Reset your iPhone

The tips can be watched individually, or as a set by selecting the Watch all Finger Tips video. Apple previously released an iPhone guided tour video, and a video on using the virtual keyboard.
