EA Mobile Releases The Sims Bowling for iPod

EA Mobile announced Thursday the release of The Sims Bowling for iPod. As the name suggests, The Sims Bowling is a bowling game for your iPod that incorporates aspect of EA's The Sims franchise. Players are after not only a high-scoring bowling score, but also to be the star of their local bowling alley.

Players earn Simoleans while playing, and those Simoleans can then be spent on better gear (new ball, glove, wax and more) to help improve your game. "From shirt to shoe, you customize your Sim in true Sims style," the company described the game in a statement.

The game also includes different gaming modes, including Classic, Strike-O-Thon, and Spare-O-Thon games, as well as a "Pass n' Play" mode that allows you to compete with a friend. As with all iPod games, you can listen to your music while you play.

The Sims Bowling is priced at US$4.99, and can be purchased and downloaded from the iTunes games sections.
