Simplify Media Allows Remote Access to iTunes
Monday, July 23rd, 2007 at 5:05 PM - by
Simplify Media has quietly released a beta of its software that allows users to remotely access their iTunes music library anywhere on the Internet. Legally, and with encryption, users can access their remote Mac or PC and listen to music with friends from anywhere that has an Internet connection.
The software is free and claims no hidden spyware. It was designed by "engineers with extensive experience in Internet Security," so the rest of the files on the user's Mac are safe. User's won't need to worry about firewalls or their settings.
More information is available at the Website's support page with an extensive FAQ. Testers can contact the company at support@simplifymedia.com
Simplify Media public beta is free and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or higher. iTunes 6 or 7 is also required.
