Review - InCharge Auto

I have three different car chargers for iPhone on hand -- XtremeMac's InCharge Auto, Griffin Technology's PowerJolt for iPhone, and RadTech's AutoPower Charge Adapter for iPhone. All three plug into your vehicle's cigarette lighter (aka 12-volt accessory outlet). All three have LED charge indicators. All three have a standard USB port, so they can be used to charge other USB devices such as iPods. And all three performed equally well in all of my testing.
So this "review" of XtremeMac's InCharge Auto will focus on the two features that differentiate it from the others.
First, it comes with the longest cable of the bunch. The included 5-foot USB-to-dock connector cable is long enough to use your iPhone while it's charging (or at least it was in my Mini Cooper). That's a good feature and one you won't find on the other chargers.
Second, it is the only one that offers a choice of colors -- either black or white.
Here's what they look like:

The Bottom Line
XtremeMac's InCharge Auto worked flawlessly throughout my testing, has a longer cable than other chargers, and is available in your choice of black or white.
Just The Facts
Pros: Longest cable, choice of color.
Cons: Expensive.
