Coolgorilla Software Introduces Talking iPhone Translator
Wednesday, August 1st, 2007 at 1:25 PM - by
Coolgorilla Software announced the Talking iPhone Translator on Wednesday. The free software provides travelers with both text and audio translations in French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and German.
The easy to use iPhone translator requires the user to select the desired language and then provides a menu system much like a standard phrase book. Simply find the desired phrase, press select and the iPhone then "speaks" the phrase using the recordings of real, native voice-over artists and also supplies a text translation on screen.

One of the key advantages is that the user can verify the pronunciation of the phrase by hearing it first.
Coolgorilla said that a Greek version will follow shortly. To access the Talking iPhone Translator, go to the special iPhone page.
