Free on iTunes - Always Sunny, Eh?, Yogamazing

Isn't it great? Now there are even more iPods around that can take advantage of video. With the new iPod Touch and WiFi iTunes Store you can grab all sorts of stuff while out in the wild. There ain't nothing wrong with that.
Since you've broken your piggy bank to buy a new iPod you'll likely have less money to spend on content. That's OK, there's plenty of free stuff on the iTunes Store to help keep you wallet from overheating. So, let's see what's up.
I saw commercials for It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia over the Labor Day Weekend and I remember thinking, "What the...?"
The commercials where strange and funny. There was one were a white couple is being told by a talent agent that the commercial market was hot, but only for babies with some color. The next scene shows the couple talking to a tanning salon attendant.
"So, you want to put your baby in a tanning booth," the attendant asked with obvious concern.
"Only long enough to get a base," both parents explain.
It'd be funnier if I didn't think there would be some idiot trying to do exactly that in real life.
Anyway, at the iTunes Store you can get the "Making of the Sunny Pilot" for free. It's OK. They introduce the cast, writers and directors, and it gives you a feel of the type of humor the show presents.
Somehow, I think it's going to be a hit.
Speaking of hits, last week I mentioned Paul McCartney's new tune, Nod Your Head. The video for it was a free download and it was a good one. This week the iTunes Store is offering Dave Matthews new song, Eh Hee, and the associated video. Dave has a definite hit on his hands. This video absolutely rocks my socks off.
It has a cool, but energetic look that's a cross between Sweeny Todd and Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer video. The song itself also has a vague Gabriel sound, but with heavy rap background and a very original beat. I'm loving it.
This video ought to look too cool on an AppleTV connected to a big plasma flat-screen display. AND IT'S FREE!!!
Next up, I'd like to direct your attention to your butt, your gluteus gigantus, your posterior extraordinair. If you've been thinking that you've been carrying a wider load than you'd like and want to find a way to tighten the tuss, burn the bum, or just lob some lard I may have just the ticket.
Yoga.
To be more specific, Yogamazing.
I tried yoga once. It was a certain type of yoga where the room is heated to 100 degrees and you're suppose to sweat impurities while stretching and twisting.
I was young and I sweated gallons, but not enough to rid me of the impure thoughts I had of the extremely hot woman on the mat in front of me. Needless to say, I was embarrassed enough not to go back to the class.
No problem with getting embarrassed here since you do your twisting in the comfort (and presumably, coolness) of your home. Yogamazing steps you through some fairly intense positions but(t) in the end you wind up stretched and feeling pretty good.
There are 44 episodes, all hosted by Chaz (Yeah, I know his name sounds like he should be teaching in Beverly Hills, but what can he do?) and he has a yoga routine for everything from abs to anxiety, from geeks to Greeks, and from basketball to butts. I took a look at several, including the Butt and Thigh episode (perhaps hoping to relive my earlier yoga experience) and it looks pretty intense, but(t) a lot of fun.
As with any exercise routine, you should make sure you are healthy enough to try them. You could hurt something, which would cause you to have to stop exercising, resulting in an even bigger rear. So do it right; talk to your doctor and start out slow. Remember that you didn't get out of shape overnight, so it will take time to get back into shape.
OK, that a wrap for this week.
