iPod touch to Top Christmas Wish Lists

Apple's iPhone-like movie and music player, the iPod touch, is likely to be one of the hottest gifts this holiday season according to the Toys R Us retail chain. The company's annual holiday best seller list for 2007 ranks the iPod touch as the most popular electronic gadget, pushing the iPod nano out of the number one position.

Also topping the list of popular gifts are toys based on the Transformers franchise, according to the Telegraph.

Apple's iPod touch offers many of the same features as the iPhone, including a multi-touch interface, Wi-Fi networking support, YouTube, and the Safari Web browser. It is available with an 8GB capacity for US$299, or $399 for 16GB of storage.
