Apple Launches Web Apps Site

Apple quietly launched a special page on its Web site the week that lists Web-based applications designed for the iPhone and iPod touch. The directory includes a wide range of applications grouped into categories like Entertainment, Games, Productivity, and Travel, and more.


Apple's Web App Page

Like Apple's Dashboard widget directory, the Web apps directory offers staff picks and a list for the most popular applications. So far, there are over 200 applications available.

See, it may take a little bit of time for development opportunities to arise, but the do. These hackers need to grow a little patience and realize that paradigms have shifted. They're the ones who may have to adjust how they do things. The bulldozer approach is so 1980s.
