iPhone Rebate Countdown: 39 Days
Monday, October 22nd, 2007 at 10:35 AM - by
The deadline to submit a request for Apple's iPhone early adopter rebate is just over a month away on November 30. Buyers that purchased an iPhone prior to August 22 can apply for a US$100 credit that can be redeemed at Apple's retail and online stores.
Apple reduced the price of the 8GB iPhone by $200 in early September and dropped the 4GB model from its product lineup. To help ease the sting of the surprise price cut, Apple began offering the credit to buyers that purchased the combination iPod and smart phone when it was first released.
While we want to make sure that every TMO reader that qualifies for the credit remembers to complete Apple's online application, we also wanted to make sure that our editor-in-chief, Bryan Chaffin -- who will very likely wait until about ten minutes before the deadline expires -- remembers to complete his application as well.
Additional information on the iPhone credit is available at the Apple Web site.
