Synergy iTunes Utility Updated for Leopard
Wednesday, October 24th, 2007 at 2:20 PM - by
Wincent Colaiuta announced Wednesday the release of Synergy 3.2, his Mac utility that places iTunes controls in your menubar. The update is a Leopard-compatibility release that also includes changes the default button set for the tool.
The release notes for the update:
- "Xidius' Transparent Bar" replaces "Safari" as the default button set; this button set is especially designed for Leopard but also looks great on Tiger.
- Default button-set spacing reduced to zero pixels; the vast majority of button sets are designed with this in mind and so look better "out of the box".
- Final compatibility changes for Leopard: this version of Synergy has been tested against the latest preview release seeded to developers; additional testing will be performed after Apple makes available the final retail version.
Synergy places three buttons in your menubar: previous track, next track, and play/pause. Other controls can be accessed by right-clicking (or ctrl-clicking) any of the three buttons. You can find more information on the product at Wincent's Web site.
