ZAP Introduces iZAP, iPod video Battery Pack [UPDATED]

ZAP has introduced their model R08-IV, iZAP battery charger and battery pack for the iPod video. The Lithium-Polymer battery can be used as a docking station, will charge the iPod and/or provide an additional 10 hours of use.

The iZAP rechargeable battery will both charge and power your iPod. The ultra slim brushed aluminum housing is designed to cradle your iPod. It includes a handy belt clip for charging your iPod on the go, according to ZAP.

While the product will be formally announced at Macworld 2008, it is immediately available.

The iZap is available in white or black. It is priced at US$79.99.
