DriveSavers Provides Pricing Data for iPhone Recovery Services
Thursday, January 24th, 2008 at 12:45 PM - by
At Macworld, DriveSavers announced its iPhone emergency data recovery service. Now, additional information has been provided to iPO on shipping and pricing.
The idea behind the service is that if an iPhone has accumulated irreplaceable data, never gets a chance to be synced, and then is damaged, the data could be lost forever. Examples are digital photos, address book contacts, calendar entries, notes and downloaded music files.
On Thursday, Margie Schaffner of BLASTMedia provided iPO with additional information. The customer is responsible packaging, insuring and shipping the Phone to DriveSavers. "The range for a successful recovery on the 5-7 business day turnaround is $500-1400. The final price varies based on time and quality of the recovery," Ms. Shaffner said.
