Tuesday, January 29th, 2008 at 9:45 AM - by
AriX and Ben Feldman announced the immediate availability of iJailBreakMobile 1.0 on Tuesday. iJailBreakMobile is based on the iJailBreak utility and lets iPhone and iPod touch users upgrade to software version 1.1.3 and maintain a jailbroken device from Installer.app.
The process requires a previously jailbroken devices running software version 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 with Installer.app already installed. iPhone users will not have to reactivate their handheld, and any installed unlocks will remain in place. Installed third party applications will be deleted, but app preferences and settings will be left intact.
Additional information about the free iJailBreak and iJailBreakMobile is available at the iJailBreak Web site.
