OmniFocus Coming to the iPhone
Friday, March 7th, 2008 at 9:30 AM - by
The Omni Group's award winning OmniFocus organization app for the Mac is branching out and will be coming to the iPhone. The announcement came from CEO Ken Case on the company's blog on Thursday.
"We're eager to get started on our first iPhone appÑand, yes, that first app will be... OmniFocus," he said.
OmniFocus is a task management and project organization application that integrates with Apple's iCal, Address Book, and Mail applications. On the iPhone it will be able to fill Apple's glaring omission of a task or to-do application.
Mr. Case did not state how much OmniFocus for the iPhone will cost, but it is safe to say that it won't be available until at least June when iPhone and iPod touch software 2.0 and the App Store launch.
