New Solio Mg Charges Small Electronics

Better Energy Systems has announced the immediate availability of its newest Solio model, the Solio Magnesium Edition, Solio Mg. One hour of sunlight can provide about 25 more minutes of cell phone talk time or about 50 minutes of MP3 music.

The device output is 8 watts, three times the older Solio Classic.

The Solio Mg features a strong yet elegant magnesium alloy shell, and a lithium ion battery that can store power for up to one year. The Mg’s sophisticated internal circuitry communicates with the device it is charging to send the precise voltage, eliminating spikes in power and providing a safe, reliable charge again and again. The Magnesium’s iGo Tip System means it’s compatible with hundreds of handheld devices, including iPod, iPhone, digital cameras, smart phones, Bluetooth headsets and handheld gaming consoles, according to Better Energy Systems.

The Solio Mg is immediately available from Solio.com and REI. It is priced at US199.99.
