The Simpsons offered some six minutes and 48 seconds of Apple jokes on Sunday's episode, "Mypods and Broomsticks", including numerous jokes about MyPods, Mapple Stores, Steve Mobs, MyTunes, and more. The Mac Observer has the video, which also includes a gag about Lisa Simpson receiving a bill for US$1,200 after downloading more than 1,200 songs from MyTunes.

LightTable 1.1 Adds TwitPic Support

Lingon i Korg announced the immediate availability of Light Table 1.1 on Monday. The update for the digital collage application for the iPhone and iPod touch added the ability to share Light Table images with Twitter users through the TwitPic service and to add text to a collage. Light Table 1.1 is priced at US$1.99 and is available for download at Apple's iTunes-based App Store.
