Apple's iPhone 3G will initially be available in 22 markets when it hits store shelves next month.

iPhone 3G will be available in the markets that the first generation iPhone is currently sold in, including the U.S., U.K., Germany, France, Ireland, and Austria.

New markets for the July 11 launch include Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
