Mercedes-Benz Rolls Out New In-car iPhone Cradle

Mercedes-Benz is making their already cool cars even cooler with the introduction of its new in-car iPhone cradle system. The new iPhone cradle system takes advantage of the the in-dash navigation screen and multi-function steering wheel controls, and also boosts cell phone reception quality.

The cradle also lets users control iPod functions, charges the iPhone, and is portable, so it can be used in more than one car. The iPhone cradle system is compatible with the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, E-Class, CLK-Class, CLS-Class, S-Class, CL-Class, SL-Class, M-Class and R-Class cars. It will also support the new GLK-Class when it launches in October.

The iPhone cradle is priced at €249 (about US$) and is available from Mercedes-Benz dealers.
