Kerio MailServer 6.5.2 Adds iPhone Push Support

Kerio's MailServer system has supported Apple's iPhone for some time, but thanks to the company's 6.5.2 update it now supports push services for users running iPhone Software 2.0 on their combination iPod and smartphone. MailServer 6.5.2 can push email, contacts and calendar information to iPhone and iPhone 3G users instantly, and it does not require MobileMe subscriptions.

Along with instant push support, MailServer 6.5.2 also supports remote wipe, allowing IT departments to delete data from iPhones that are lost or stolen. Users can access data through the application of their choice, including iCal, Address Book, Microsoft Entourage, and Microsoft Outlook.

Along with the iPhone and iPhone 3G, Kerio MailServer 6.5.2 is compatible with Windows Moble, Symbian, BlackBerry, and Palm smartphones.

Pricing information is available at the Kerio Web site, and the update is free for customers with current support subscriptions.

I use KerioMail as a hosted service through www.keriomailhosting.com, I love it. I just got an iPhone and tried it out with my email hosting and it worked great. I talked with the guys at keriomailhosting.com about it because I was worried that I would have problems, and they said this latest release was great!
