Ivyskin Launches Hard Screen Shell for iPhone 3G

Ivyskin has launched its XyloT3, a clear case that completely protects the iPhone 3G, yet provides full functionality.

The new case uses a material developed in Germany. On the screen surface, the technology passes ultrasonic waves that pass over the touch screen panel and transfer them to the iPhone's screen without any interferences. When the panel is touched, a portion of the wave is absorbed. This change in the ultrasonic waves registers the position of the touch event and sends this information to the iPhone's screen for processing, according to Ivyskin.

The Xylo Touch-Thru T3 case is available for pre-order and will ship on July 28. It is priced at US$34.99.
