App Store Spotlight - TouchTerm Gives iPhone a Terminal Emulator

Jim Brink has released an SSH terminal emulator, TouchTerm, for the iPhone/iPod touch. The app allows the user to securely access and administer a server from anywhere and works over EDGE/3G and Wi-Fi.

Features include:

  • Control over font size and color.
  • Landscape mode.
  • The ability to scroll over terminal output.
  • Retention of command history across sessions.

TouchTerm 1.0

TouchTerm is powered internally by the industry-standard OpenSSH and OpenSSL open-source libraries, so it will work with virtually any SSH-capable server, according to the author.

TouchTerm 1.0 is priced at US$2.99.
