TMO Quick Tip - iPhone: Preview URLs in Mobile Safari
Monday, September 8th, 2008 at 7:30 AM - by
Navigating with URLs in Web pages is easy in Mobile Safari on the iPhone or iPod touch: just tap a link on a Web page. If you want to see where that link is going to take you before you tap and go, that's easy, too.
To see the Web address that a link on a Web page is pointing to, just tap and hold on the link. Mobile Safari will display a pop-up that shows the Web address associated with the link.
![]() Tap and hold Web links to see their URL. |

Lifting your finger from the display automatically selects the link. To stay on the current Web page and avoid selecting the link, just move your finger before lifting it from the display.
