Tuesday, October 7th, 2008 at 4:05 PM - by
mDialog announced on Saturday an updated version of mDialog iPhone app designed to work with OS X iPhone 2.1. The new version adds most of the navigation and operational controls that users have access to on the Website from a browser.
After users have uploaded their video to mDialog's Social Video Website, with the new user navigation, they can access the following features right from the iPhone/iPod touch:
- Take surveys, enter contests, vote and video collaborate right from the iPhone.
- Privately share interactive videos with your friends.
- Geotag on rating, commenting, surveys and voting.
- Watch and interact with exclusive shows like "Cooking to get Lucky," "French Maid TV," or "CopDoc."
- Invite friends from address book to view videos from your iPhone.
- Accept invitations to view videos on your network.

mDialog 1.2 requires OS X iPhone 2.1 or later and is free. For Apple administrative reasons, Apple's iTunes store still lists a June release date.
Note: the mDialog app accesses the mDialog Social Video website to interact with videos loaded by other means. It is not a video camera app for the iPhone.
