Mac Gaming News - First-Person Shooter "Brothers in Arms" Comes to iPhone

Gameloft on Wednesday brought the Brothers in Arms franchise to the iPhone with the release of Hour of Heroes, which features 13 World War II first-person shooter missions spread across the Normandy, Ardennes, and Tunisia campaigns. All of the graphics are 3D.

Players join the 101st Airborne and get the chance to drive a 4x4 vehicle or a Sherman tank as well as fire a variety of realistic weapons, including bazookas, sniper rifles, and machine guns. They tap the screen to fire at enemies and use the built-in accelerometer to throw grenades.
Pricing is US$9.99.
